Born in Catamarca, Argentina in 1953.
Studied at the Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires and graduated in 1965. Started as an art professor in the National University of Tacumán and in 1972 transfers, as art professor, to the School of Fine Arts, National University of Buenos Aires. Recepient of the John Simon Guggenhein Memorial Foundation Fellowship. Lives and works in Mexico and New York City.
